Maeve's portrait

Hi, I’m Maeve. I’m a 37-year-old trans woman who began her transition in July 2024 and started HRT that October—the best decision of my life. I’m an artist at heart: I sculpt, make molds, craft silicone masks that now travel to people all around the world.

Because of chronic illness, I can’t work the “traditional” way anymore, but I put my energy into my shop whenever my body allows me. My art and my words are how I keep shining.

This blog is a space where I share my journey—through transition, through disability, through self-discovery. I write about the raw and the beautiful, the messy and the magical. You’ll find reflections, stories, and a perspective only a trans woman living this shift between worlds can bring.

I’m colorful in every sense of the word. I love to paint with language, twist jokes into double layers, and turn makeup into art on my own face. I’m equal parts silly and grounded, distracted and focused, emotional and wise.

So whether you’re here for transition stories, art, geeky passions, or just a little unconventional sparkle—you’ll find a piece of me in it. Welcome inside my mind.🩷🏳️‍⚧️

  • THE LIFE-BARING FLAMES

I come from hellfire —burnt flesh, carbonized bones, rising tall, anew. I come from death, from destruction and despair, from the void, from nothingness —resurrected, alive. I come from rage, angry at the world, aching for calm, for once… just once. Now I am whole —kind, calm, awake, breathing… Continue reading

  • Inside the mind of a disabled overachiever.

When summer ends and fall slowly reminds you of all the jobs waiting around the house, being a disabled girl turns into a war between “I should do this or that” and “f*ck no, I’m in too much pain.” But… Continue reading

  • MY TRUE NATURE SHINING THROUGH

Those who’ve known me since childhood know just how much I was a little boy who wasn’t like the others. Gentle, curious, calm, sensitive. At that age, I was simply me — without filters, without the weight of society’s expectations,… Continue reading

  • LET’S FACE IT

I don’t want to get all political here, but let’s be honest: my very existence becomes political the second I step out of my home. The hard truth? Transgender people are more vulnerable than ever. Let’s talk about vulnerability, shall… Continue reading
